Words full of meaning.

In essence. Ways to describe how as Christians we make faith into something way more complicated than it should be by adding a list of rules that Christians have to do to become more christian (nomistic) or by simply not looking at the scripture well enough and letting a whole lot of other trash seep in (syncretisim).

I have been thinking how much Paul fought tooth and nail against these things in the early church and how to a certain extent due to the fact that we don't question stuff we have made what should be a beautiful faith into something that is complicated, pathetic, weak or even worse a consumeristic identity.
